That means recreating your reality isn’t about doing more, it’s about rewiring the way you think, feel, and respond—so that ease becomes your new default.

My story 

In my 20s, I experienced burnout, chronic illness, and trauma. I hustled, ignored my symptoms, and prioritised work above all else – even checking emails before getting out of bed. 

In 2018, a chronic pain diagnosis (CRPS – Complex Regional Pain Syndrome) shattered my world when I was told I might never walk again, and that I could even lose my foot to amputation. 

 

That’s when I realised I had given my entire life to work. 

Despite being in 24/7 pain and on a cocktail of pain meds, I struggled to take time off work or request part-time hours. 

But eventually, I had a wake-up call. I took a long hard look at my life and realised “this isn’t working for me”. 

I realised that, though my physical healing was important, the mental and emotional healing was what I had been missing.

I began to trust this small part of me that believed I could heal, despite being told by numerous doctors and specialists I could not. 

 

Through inner work and working with a coach, I rewrote my beliefs about healing, reprogrammed myself to be able to heal, and transformed my mindset. I also redesigned my life to serve me. 

And now, I have created a life I wouldn’t have ever believed was possible for me. 

  • I’ve fully healed from CRPS and trauma.

  • I’m a recovering people pleaser and perfectionist.

  • I’m a proud mama to a 2-year-old boy.

  • I’ve retrained as a life coach, yoga teacher, and meditation guide.

  •  I’m training to be a therapist.

  • I’m my own boss and I have built two fulfilling businesses from scratch.

  • I’ve learned to embrace rest and cherish every nap.
